Rosie, born December 28, 2018, is my current therapy dog. She is a Cattle Dog/Corgi/German Shepherd/Dachshund mix. Rosie’s favorite thing to do is read with kids. During the school year, we have one-on-one reading sessions every Thursday at our local elementary school. She also loves to visit with folks at in the memory care ward at our local nursing home. During the summer, we read at libraries and attend kid’s summer camps at the local Humane Society where we get to talk about rescue dogs and therapy dog work. She’s a very special girl and will be an excellent big sister to Jolene.
